hand held drum painted design vtg

Description

I do not know much about this lovely drum...I have tried to picture its flaws ...the store where we purchased it sold lot of interesting things from many cultures and countries.  the rawhide seems dry but still sturdy.. the drum measures 16" in diameter and is about 2 1/2" deep.  the black design is painted on 16" of the circumference  the rest is plain.  Hoping someone will know more about it than I do .  It weighs 2 to 3 pounds and can be sent priority mail
