Slingerland Black Diamond Pearl Drum Kit

Vintage Slingerland Black Diamond Pearl Drum Kit complete cymbals and pedals. The kit component serial numbers are: 210719,224488, 223644 which means all components were manufactured in 1968. Kit includes 22 inch bass drum with 12 inch and 13 inch toms, early Ludwig acrolite snare, Ludwig speed king kick pedal and speed king hi hat stand. This was the jazz kit with the stand mounted toms using the famous ball-socket clamp slingerland developed at the time. The ball socket is period correct but is attached to a tama clamp. There is also a tama cymbal stand included with an early paiste super thin crash and zildjian scimitar ride and hihats included. This is a beautiful players kit with original hoops and hardware. The bass and toms were professionally epoxy repaired for slight bead delaminations which are common for a 53 year old kit. I prefer that the buyer picks up the kit at my storage facility in San Diego ca- but there is a possibility it can be shipped if we negotiate.
